About Me

I'm a junior in high school who loves languages, programming, and the open source movement. At this moment, I speak English and French, code in PHP and Perl, and am a serious fan of all things open-source. What are you going to find on this blog? Technology, everyday experiences... nothing that would stand out too much on the interblags. I'm going to be posting some images, maybe some videos, potentially some code. Above all this site gives me the immense satisfaction of shouting out into the void. Nobody may be listening, but at least I get the satisfaction of feeling that it's out there and people can read it if they really want to.

In case you're wondering, the title of the blog is a quote from Thoreau: "I would say to the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, sometimes — Go to grass. You have eaten hay long enough." And the URL, akam.me, was just a random set of four characters that I thought looked nice (sound familiar? If not, check out xkcd).

With that, I hope you enjoy the blog!
